COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER
Job Description:
We are looking for people to build and foster relationships with schools in their own community. Community Volunteers play a significant role in creating a bond between children who need God’s love, and children that want to share His love.

This position has a time requirement of approximately 8 hours per week.
 
Responsibilities include:

Visiting schools and evaluating potential involvement opportunities with International Orphans Foundation, Inc.
 

  • Serving as a consultant to schools to enhance their service to orphans.
     

  • Providing schools with appropriate resources and involvement opportunities.
     

  • Serving as primary person responsible for regular communication, program involvement and partnership opportunities to schools in your community.
     

  • Creating and maintaining relationships with school Liaisons who will foster the message and vision of IOF within their own school families.
     

  • Collaborating with Community Leader and School Liaisons to ensure area goals are met.
     

Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
     
  • Knowledge of and respect for churches being served.
     
  • Good organizational skills.
     
  • A strong desire to help IOF in its mission to find permanent homes and loving families for children who need them.
